PANDORA
[noun]
Greek mythology: (ancient Greek, Πανδώρα, derived from πᾶς “all” and δῶρον “gift”, thus “all-gifted” or “all-giving”); allegedly the first woman, who was made out of clay. As Hesiod recounted, each god helped create her by giving her unique gifts. Zeus ordered Hephaestus to mould her out of earth as part of the punishment of mankind for Prometheus’ theft of the secret of fire and all the gods joined in offering her “seductive gifts”. Her other name, inscribed against her figure on a white-ground kylix in the British Museum, is Anesidora, “she who sends up gifts,” up implying “from below” within the earth. According to the myth, Pandora opened a jar (pithos), in modern accounts sometimes mistranslated as “Pandora’s box” , releasing all the evils of mankind — although the particular evils, aside from plagues and diseases, are not specified in detail by Hesiod — leaving only Hope inside once she had closed it again. She opened the jar out of simple curiosity and not as a malicious act.

Let’s try this again.
Incense is here for those purchasing something a little heavier off me. I just don’t think it’s worth it to ship it on it’s own. ^^;  $1 per pack

Chalice - silver plated- some staining as it is a few years old - Good for solitaries who do rituals with just themselves. It’s not very big so I’d only recommend it for one person use.  - $10

Pentacle - silver plated - some staining as it is a few years old - about 3” wide. -$8

Books!
Wicca: A Guide For the Solitary Practitioner & Living Wicca: A Further Guide for the Solitary Practitioner - Both by Scott Cunningham. I’d recommend them together. - $10 each.

Wicca For Life: A Way of the Craft - From Birth to Summerland - Raymond Buckland - $10

The Pendulum Kit
Which is actually just the book because I believe I may have discarded the pendulum it came with since it just hated me. But, not to worry! You can MacGuyver your own out of almost anything!
It contains history, technique, and dozens of charts for you to use with your own pendulum.

As always, prices are inclusive of shipping (I can only ship within the US), may be negotiable, and I’m always up for trades.
Currently in need of sunstone, labradorite, and anything you have to offer on the Greek pantheon, especially Athena.

Please feel free to ask questions if you have them. ^^

The full altar set up (it’s dorm room living!).  I work so much with stones, that of course that is my focal point.  On the other side, you can see Zach (le boyfriend) works quite heavily with runes (he now has five sets… this picture is old).
Next year, when we have a proper apartment, we’ll be getting this off the floor, and onto, at least, some counter space. :)

Leviathan
Prince (sometimes a King)
Direction: West
Element: Water
Enn: Jaden Tasa Hoet Naca Leviathan
The sigil is from a book, I have forgotten which one…not any that I use to post other Goetic Daemons.  I drew it on parchment, as I do all my sigils.  I cannot find a listing of Leviathan’s color, incense, metal, planet and dates…so this is just based off of another ‘Prince’ ranked daemon.
Color: Blue
Incense: Cedar
Metal: Tin
Planet: Jupiter
In demonolatry, there is a prayer to Leviathan for legal victories, so I would say that it is good to summon/invoke him for that purpose.  Leviathan is also a water Daemon so, can be invoked for anything to do with water/storms as well.

You know what’s the magic part of this picture? The damn skinny candles on the plates. I have a seriously hard time getting them things to just stay up.  I wonder if they’re glued to it?

My first thought was: “shit gurrl do you realize how much adhesive will be on your floor now? And wax?” Though yes. It’s impossible to make those skinny-ass candles stay up.

I use Chanukah candles quite a bit for spells, and don’t have a single holder thin enough for them. I usually melt the bottom just a teeny bit, just soften the wax enough so it cools in place and stays upright wherever I stick it.
I’m a chime candle addict, and usually I’m a bottom melter too.  (…that sounds kinda dirty.  I like it.)
But sometimes I just can’t be bothered (usually because the bottoms won’t melt evenly or some other candle nonsense they like to pull) and that’s why I always have a tin of this stuff in my witchery drawer:

O.O This exists? How have I lived 25 years without knowing this?
